NWC Motorsports

Putting 200,000 OEM parts within reach of remote customers.

NWC Motorsports sells snowmobiles, ATVs, boats, and parts across The North West Company's 130-location retail network. Customers in rural communities have always had access to local stock — but the deeper inventory, the parts catalogs, and the full vehicle lineup were behind a phone call. The mission was to virtually close the distance: put the full inventory at every customer's fingertips, with the parts diagrams and quoting flow motorsports actually needs.

The Challenge

Bring the full catalog to customers who couldn't see it.

A customer in a remote community could walk into a local NWC Motorsports store and shop what was on the floor. They couldn't easily see what was available at the other 129 locations, or browse the deeper OEM parts catalogs that most stores carry only by special order. The gap between "what's in stock here" and "what NWC can actually get you" was real, and it was costing sales.

Motorsports parts shopping is also visual — customers want to point at a piece of an exploded diagram, not type a part number. The platform had to handle that.

The Approach

A motorsports-native commerce platform with full OEM data.

We built on CDK Global (formerly ARI), the e-commerce platform designed specifically for the powersports industry. That gave us licensed, up-to-date OEM parts catalogs for the five major manufacturers NWC carries — over 200,000 parts, complete with diagrams customers could click directly to add the right part to the cart.

We layered in full model listings for 12+ manufacturers' current units, with a simplified quoting and communication flow so leads on big-ticket items routed cleanly to the right local sales team. Behind the storefront, the platform was wired into NWC's ERP and logistics so inventory and fulfillment stayed aligned to real stock and shipping options across the network.

The Outcome

The whole network, accessible from anywhere.

Customers can now browse and order from the full NWC Motorsports inventory regardless of where they live, with the diagram-based picker motorsports shoppers expect. Lead capture for boats, snowmobiles, and ATVs routes through the site to local dealers. And the 5,000+ non-inventory products extended through the platform broaden the assortment well beyond what any single store can physically hold.
